Heads up that this is a cash or debit place only. We soon realized that as soon as we sat down with signs around on the walls. A bit inconvenient but the food was delicious. One waitress in particular, with the short hair, was super friendly and nice. Really took good care of us. Bathrooms are in the back of the restaurant and you need to use a key to get in. Ordered a few dishes and she heard we wanted two orders of soup dumplings and placed the order for us! It was ready once we finished ordering the rest. Soup dumplings - there's something to be said about this classic Shanghainese dish. It was delicious, thin enough skin texture, good meat filling complete with a delicious broth. Just so satisfying on cold days. Vegetarian mock duck - essentially bean curd sticks with flavor. Very good. Great meatless option. Keep in mind, this is a cold appetizer. Noodle soup with pork and veggies - they are very generous with their meat and veggies. This is a huge noodle soup and great shareable dish. Pork chop over rice - what a winner. The pork chop was perfectly done and the breading was light. Plenty of pork chop with all the usual fixings for this dish. Solid. Salted fish and chicken fried rice - anytime I see this dish, I order it because salted fish is classic and reminds me of home. Presentation looks like something I can make but the flavor is on point. Overall, great meal and good experience. Would certainly come back. Restaurant is medium size, parking is okay if you're willing to walk a few blocks. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant but it's tight and is packed at times.

My meal was so good that I forgot to take photos. This is a tiny little place in Bayside but the food is delicious. We ordered soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, udon noodles as well as general Tso's chicken. Everything was delicious and piping hot, which is great. The meal was flavorful and I would definitely recommend it. Will be back!

3.5 but rounded up cash or debit when you dine in - can use a card if you order to go/delivery. We got the soup dumplings, shanghai udon and chicken and broccoli. My daughter loves their soup dumplings - nice texture on the skin and good meat to soup and skin ratio. Still good even though we got it to go. The udon is okay - lacks flavor IMO but it might be better in person. I expected a lot from the chicken and broccoli but this wasn't as good as i remembered. Maybe the douglaston location is better?

I love their fried rice! I always pivot towards their fried rice when I want Chinese fried rice. This for sure hits the spot! This time I ordered pork fried rice, but I do prefer their beef fried rice more. I also grabbed their salted chicken and although I did a delivery, the chicken was still crispy! I never dined in there so I don't know what their service is like. I also never went inside the store only did deliveries so not sure what their space/ambiance looks like. Overall, I think their flavor profiles are on point!
